We Can Thrive in Partnership
Special Education Advocacy & Family Guidance
Navigating special education shouldn’t feel overwhelming or isolating. We provide experienced, hands-on support to help families understand their rights, communicate effectively with schools, and secure the services their child needs to succeed.
Whether you're preparing for an IEP meeting, developing a behavior plan, or trying to make sense of complex evaluations, we stand beside you as a knowledgeable and compassionate guide.
This is advocacy that’s collaborative, values-driven, and rooted in a belief that families should never have to fight alone. -
We Can Thrive in Purpose
Skills-Based Coaching for Students, Parents & Families
Coaching is about building practical skills that lead to real, lasting growth. Our coaching services are future-focused and goal-oriented, helping students, parents, and families develop stronger communication, better routines, and more intentional habits.
For students, we focus on executive functioning, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and personal responsibility. For parents, we offer tools for navigating challenging behaviors, setting limits with empathy, and creating structure without shame.
Our coaching is collaborative and empowering — not therapy, not discipline — but a bridge between where you are and where you want to be. -
We Can Thrive in Compassion
Emotional Support & Holistic Wellness Services
Care is where we pause, reflect, and tend to the deeper layers of stress, overwhelm, and emotional fatigue that so many families carry.
Our care services provide a nurturing, non-judgmental space for parents, students, and caregivers to process life’s challenges — whether it’s burnout, anxiety, school-based trauma, or the need to simply feel seen and supported.
Unlike coaching, which focuses on building external skills, our care services focus inward — promoting emotional healing, clarity, and resilience. Through conversation, mindfulness tools, and restorative practices, we help clients move forward with greater peace and self-understanding.

Getting Started
How Our Services Work
Personalized Support. Transparent Process. Built Around You.
At We Can Thrive Collective, we know that every family, every student, and every life path is unique. That’s why our approach is never one-size-fits-all. We meet you where you are, listen deeply, and co-create a plan that feels right for you.
We begin every journey with a free 30-minute consultation
A no-pressure conversation designed to help you feel seen, heard, and supported as
we explore the best path forward.
Step 1: Book Your Free Virtual Consultation
We begin every journey with a free 30-minute consultation a no-pressure conversation designed to help you feel seen, heard, and supported.
This is your chance to share your story and ask questions in a welcoming, judgment-free space. We’ll listen closely and introduce services that may be a strong fit for your goals whether you’re exploring:
Advocacy (navigating school systems, IEPs, or 504 plans),
Coaching (tools for focus, routines, and family balance),
Emotional support (stress management, resilience, and well-being), or
Team training (skills for educators, service providers, and organizations).
We’re proud to offer services in both English and Spanish, because language should never be a barrier to care. And since our services are fully virtual, you can connect with us wherever in the world you may be.
Step 2: Build a Custom Plan
After the consultation, we’ll work with you to co-create a plan that fits your needs, values, and comfort level.
You’ll gain clarity about how we can support you, what services make the most sense, and how sessions are structured. We offer hourly sessions, multi-session packages, and subscription options, depending on what works best for your life and schedule.
Step 3: Work with Credentialed, Caring Experts
Every consultant and coach on our team is a certified life coach with years of professional experience in their area of specialization whether that’s education, behavioral support, family dynamics, or wellness. Many also hold advanced degrees, licenses, or certifications in related fields.
While our services are not clinical therapy, they are deeply informed, ethically grounded, and designed to be practical, relational, and results-driven.
Step 4: Grow at Your Pace
Once we begin, you’ll receive consistent, compassionate support tailored to your evolving goals. We’ll check in often, make adjustments when needed, and walk with you every step of the way—whether you’re seeking short-term solutions or long-term transformation.
What You Won’t Find Here
You won’t find set pricing charts or cookie-cutter programs, because your story deserves better than a template. Our focus is on relationships, not transactions, and we’ll always talk through your options openly and transparently before moving forward.

From Our Founder
Starting We Can Thrive Collective wasn’t just a business decision it was a response to a real need I saw again and again: families, students, and caregivers doing everything they could to hold it all together, while the very systems meant to support them often left them feeling unseen, unheard, and overwhelmed.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked in education and family services as a teacher, behaviorist, consultant, and coach. I’ve sat at IEP tables, stood in classrooms, answered late-night calls from parents in crisis, and coached students who had lost hope in themselves. Through all of these experiences, one truth has remained constant:
Thriving isn’t about perfection it’s about connection, compassion, and knowing someone is in your corner.
That’s why this Collective exists. To provide practical, personalized, and heart-centered support to those who need it whether that’s a parent navigating special education, a teen struggling with focus or emotional regulation, or a family seeking peace and balance at home.
Every consultant on our team shares this vision. We are certified life coaches with years of professional experience, but more importantly, we lead with empathy, integrity, and a belief in your capacity to grow. We meet you where you are in both English and Spanish and walk with you toward the future you want for yourself and your family.
As for me, I bring over 15 years of experience in education and behavior support, along with:
Master’s degrees in Special Education and Leadership
Multiple New York State certifications, including Special Education and Educational Leadership
Certified Life Coach credential
My work has spanned schools, homes, and communities. But no matter the setting, it has always been, and will always be, about people first.
This work is deeply personal to me. It is built on my calling to serve, my commitment to equity, and my belief that no one should ever have to figure it all out alone.
Thank you for trusting us with your journey.
Let’s thrive together.
Warmly,
Michael J. Sarna
